This is one of the most stylish and spacious late 18th century farmhouses in the Algarve. Situated in Corotelo near Sao Bras, it is beautifully converted and restored with a truly unique blend of charm and character. The house is very spacious; on two levels it can sleep 12, and upto 16 with the separate guest cottage. This is an ideal spot for a family get together. In a rural setting, high in the hills, it has lovely views over neighbouring Sao Bras and the surrounding area and is extremely peaceful.

Behind the coastal strip and beyond citrus groves and rich farmland, the countryside rises and quiet country roads lead to unspoilt hillside villages and towns such as Santa Barbara de Nexe. These villages are, however, but no means remote and still have good access to the beaches and resorts. Their main attraction though, is their rustic ambience, with bars and restaurants offering delicious local food and countryside with superb views around every corner. Many of our houses in this area share these views. Relax with a glass of local wine and watch the sun set into the Atlantic. Close by is the town of Loule where the weekly market is a magnet for locals and visitors alike: an ideal place to drink in the atmosphere and shop for fresh produce and attractive pottery. This area really is the best of both worlds. |
