Nothing makes children happier on holiday than having other children to play and laugh with. Whilst Kid’s Clubs are a familiar sight in most resorts, as parents we are often nervous about packing our children off to a facility we know little about.
That’s why we felt we should highlight the incredible facility at Marbella Club. They have re-written the recipe for children’s entertainment and come up with a truly groundbreaking new approach. The result is a shining example of everything a Kids Club should.
Enjoyable, stimulating, challenging, and inspirational for children whilst at the same time, safe and reassuring for parents.
The buildings, gardens and play spaces were specifically designed and constructed to create the optimum environment for active learning and enjoyment.
A dedicated team of qualified teachers and leaders run age-specific activities every day, for children from 4 years upwards. When accompanied by an adult, younger children are welcome to join in or to spend time in the play spaces or mini play studio with its array of games and toys.
The refreshing new approach at Marbella Club means children can spend time with other kids whilst engaging in all kinds of interesting and exciting new activities.
Stepping far away from the usual ‘game of football in the park’, the professional team at Marbella Club have designed a range of activities that stimulate mind and body, allowing every child to excel and enjoy themselves.
Here are some of the activities and opportunities that are available to children attending their forward-thinking and creative Kid’s Club.
Arts & Crafts
A dedicated design studio gives kids the opportunity to develop their creative skills. Painting, drawing and making art together – and getting a little messy in the process. With expert tuition, guidance and encouragement, time spent here is always great fun.
Music & Dance
The music studio allows children to learn new dance moves, try out a new instrument, sing their favourite songs together, or simply wind down with a relaxed, mindful yoga session.
Beach Activities & Sports
The range of sports on offer for children at Marbella Club is completely unrivalled. Always under careful supervision, using state-of-the-art equipment with all safety gear provided, kids can try kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, short tennis and of course, football.
And when all the activity gets a little too much, there’s always a group sandcastle building experience, or the chance to create some ‘beach art’ which really brings children together to create a masterpiece.
Mini Gardeners
Children can spend time in the vegetable herb garden, digging, planting and learning about plants and how they grow. They’ll also learn about vegetable and herbs as cooking ingredients as well as how certain plants make the basis for perfumes and scents. A huge inspiration for many children and one that often sparks off a new interest in the natural world.
Aroma Workshop
Taking a step sideways from the herb garden, kids can enjoy the challenge of making their own perfume from scratch. Mashing up, mixing and blending herbs and other spices to create their own unique scent is a fascinating activity which is sure leave them grinning from ear to ear.
Garage Kitchen
Supervised and encouraged by our head chef, children can work with a range of ingredients including herbs and vegetables picked from the garden to make their own lunch. From making their own pizza, to mixing up an authentic gazpacho, they’ll have fun and even pick up a little Spanish along the way.
Creative Playtime
The kids activity programme at Marbella Club is packed with opportunities to enjoy different activities including treasure hunts, costume making, dressing up, acting and storytelling.
Chill Out Time
With the fast pace and high energy levels of each day, there is always an opportunity for the children to relax and unwind after a delicious hand-prepared lunch. Whether they help themselves to a book form the shelf, listen to a story being read, play a board game or do a jigsaw or quietly draw a picture, a dedicated slow-down time helps everyone recharge for another bust afternoon.
Supervised Water Games
In the summer months, always carefully supervised by a qualified lifeguard, children can take a dip in the lagoon and join in with some organized water-based games.
Evening Sessions
If our young holidaymakers aren’t completely worn out by all the exciting daytime activities, there are regular evening sessions where they can get together with their new friends to enjoy a disco, bbq or simply sit back, put their feet up and watch a movie together.
